Resort Report
By RLRstaff @ 1:35 PM :: 994 Views :: 0 Comments :: :: Fishing Reports, Tips

The fishing has been very good for most!  Some kids are saying that they are catching bluegill and perch off the facility docks and shore as well as the bridge that goes to the island.  The bluegills haven’t been weighed or pictures taken so the sizes of the fish are unknown but they seem to be having a GREAT time! CheckOut the “OpenWater Page” for all of the current fishing pictures.

We also have fishing boat rentals and the park has a swimming beach and canoe rentals as well as Frisbee golf and playgrounds.

On the home page there is a link to a calendar of July openings for cabins for your convenience. July weather is usually very summer-like with average temperatures in the 80’s.  There are other places to go, 3 golf courses, Fort Sisseton (the best preserved frontier Fort in the U.S.), Prayer Rock Museum, Sicia Hollow for horseback riding, Prarie Sky for a steak fry on Wed. nights and more.

We hope we get to see you this summer.
