Roy Lake Resort & Lodge is privileged to offer you an intimate waterfront restaurant that offers the best of surf and turf (featuring Certified Angus Beef), lite fares, and regional American favorites.

A full breakfast and lunch is available along with full-service dinner and including an assortment of beverages.

Which ever course you decide to partake in (or maybe you'll indulge in all three!) you will be able to enjoy our finely cooked meals while comfortably relaxing in the lake front dinning room OR on our lake front/side patio for the best relaxing and refreshing ambiance, set in South Dakota's most gorgeous Glacial Lake, Roy Lake!

The Chef's and his staff's expertise consist of Prime Rib, Steaks, Fish, Shrimp, Crab, Gourmet Hamburgers, Gourmet Omelets and many, many more entrees! The Chef has previous experience at resorts (including 4-diamond resorts) located on Galveston Island off the coast of Texas, and others located on the mainland.  He has also been taught by the very best in the hotel & restaurant industry at the University of Houston, Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management.  He is excellent!  You will definitely enjoy him and his food! (*Some dishes might only be seasonal.)

For you WINTER travelers!  If you love to ice fish but hate to take your poles or tip-ups out when you eat, we have your problem solved! You can watch your poles and tip-ups from the dining room!  People have caught up to 18 pound Northerns and 25 inch walleyes, all while staying perfectly warm!

Avid Bird Watcher or Hunter? From our lake-front restaurant you can watch the geese, ducks or swans fly off the lake to feed in the morning and land in the afternoon right back on the lake!  If you get there at the right time of the year you can even hear the loon's song and watch the Northern Lights!

Looking for that perfect place for your business retreat/meeting? Look no further and come to Roy Lake Resort & Lodge!  Not only are our accommodations great and our guide service fantastic, but our in-house Chef can prepare the fish that you caught!  Or if you catch & release, a special course prepared by the Chef and his staff.

You might ask yourself, What do I do when I'm on the lake and coming in to eat just isn't an option?  Or maybe you're out doing some other activity when the hunger strikes, What do I do then?  We have one simple answer to those questions... Do not worry!  We will send you off with a box lunch if you'll be out in a boat or just not in the area.  Or we can arrange to have your dinner cooked right beside you!  Right on the lake!  While you continue fishing, our talented Chef will take care of your hunger! (**the latter is only available during the winter.  Request Dinner on the Ice!)

You can get in touch with jan@roylakeresort.com or charles@roylakeresort.com for any of your business or catering needs!  Before your arrival we can get your meetings and dinners planned so all you have to do is have FUN and ENJOY!  For prices and for available menus please e-mail Jan or Charles.
